Where is the Khushwant Singh Litfest held?

The Khushwant Singh Litfest is held in the charming hill station, Kasauli, in Himachal Pradesh, India. Kasauli is just a couple of hours drive from the erstwhile summer capital of the British Raj, Simla. More here.

Kasauli is a tiny hill station in Himachal Pradesh, India. Check out road, rail and air connections here.

What is the KSLF venue?

The KSLF is held in the old world Kasauli Club at Kasauli’s Upper Mall.

How do I register for the festival?

Registration for the festival is Online at https://kslitfest.com/kslf-2019/registration/  All are welcome to attend. There is no charge by KSLF for the festival. However the Kasauli Club does levy a temporary membership fee for the duration of the festival.

Is there a Dress Code for the festival?

While there is no festival dress code, the Kasauli Club does have a strict dress code. Collared shirts tucked in with closed shoes for men. No sports shoes, chappals, lungis, kurtas or pathanis for men.

When is the Khushwant Singh Literary Festival held?

The KSLF is held annually in October, over a single weekend, Friday to Sunday. It is usually on the second weekend of October.

We hear there are school activities at KSLF.

Yes absolutely. Schools in Himachal and Punjab take part in contests, games, quizzes during KSLF. If your school would like to participate do write in to us well before the festival.

Entry Fees: KSLF does not charge any entry fees. However the Kasauli Club does levy a temporary membership charge.
Guest entry fee is Rs. 250 per Day.
